Insurance companies just write you a check for the repairs (based on how much it would cost to get repaired at a body shop, approved by them). If you use that check to order different parts - they dont care. They just write the check, and increase the rates of the person who owns the policy...

She is home!! Picked her up yesterday. Probably the best car buying experience I've had in a LONG time. In and out of the dealership in about an hour.

Finally took delivery today!! The wait is over!! Perfect body panel alignment. No odd gaps, everything looks and feels awesome at this point.

I wouldn't put much stock into security cameras outside big chain stores (Best Buy, Walmart, etc). They are absolute garbage quality cameras and dont have the resolution to see license plates. Even if you parked in view of one, chances are you'd just be able to make out the type/color of car...

I've dropped jet-skis into Lake Erie on a cement ramp. The amount of algae and crap on those ramps makes it feel like walking on ice. Not sure if I'd trust a mustang (or any sports car) to load/unload on that ramp. Granted, not all ramps are the same and some are probably better kept than...
