Ford Not Pulling Any Orders In December???

Just ordered my car last week and today my dealer tells me Ford isn't pulling any orders of any kind at all this month. I know how the system works, and this sounds a little strange to me.

Any one else hear anything like this?

They have a two-week shutdown for Christmas, so if you ordered last week it's doubtful they'll be scheduling it until the new year.

If I'm understanding that correctly, they ARE pulling this week and those orders will be built the week of January 12th. Is that right?

Can you tell me what document that is from so I can confront my dealer?

Actually it's one week according to Rachel at Ford Service.

just means their allocation is used up, other dealers may be faster but atleast your dealer is being honest about it.

one week Christmas and one week new year? They have been working six 10 hour days and deserve the break, it's been along 3 months for the factory workers
