DARK MATTER GRAY S550 MUSTANG thread

Is it me or are there hints of purple? The indoor dealer pictures and videos do not show this but outdoor pictures look purple. I'm really having second thoughts about ordering this color. Would like a true dark grey color. The carbonized is too light but this color is confusing as it looks different with each picture.

It looks different with each picture because it's a very neutral, yet dark, gray. Still, all paints have tint to them, and I would say this does err on the side of blue or purple but only slightly. I posted a picture of it under a halogen garage light in this thread and It reflects background lighting temperature very well. Honestly, I love the color more each day. It is dark and sleek, yet pops with hints of color based more on the surroundings. Since a sunny day means a blue sky, you will see many pictures with a blueish tint. If you're uncertain but considering it, I would do your best to see the color in person before making a decision. Everyone I know absolutely loves this color in person, but it's YOUR car and you should be sure that YOU love it.

Have had mine for a few weeks. Got it ceramic coated the first week. Just gave it it’s first bath. Loaded premium GT, 10 speed auto, black accent package. Got a UPR catch can installed. Thinking about getting calipers painted red.
