AVALANCHE GRAY 2015 Mustang (S550) Thread

Either Avalanche/Battle Ship, Magnetic or Ingot are gonna look FAN.TAS.TIC paired w/ red accents. At least for me. I LoVE red on cars. Like stripes, stylish decals or simply the seats. Is there a Recaro red leather option btw?

Same here. I'm a big fan of cars painted in light monochrome shades with tasteful black and red accents. Like the 2015 Nismo 370z, for lack of a better example (because I think it's lipstick on a pig):

I tried to make a white S550 with said accents in Forza 5. A bit over the top, but that's because I plan on fleshing it out as a full race livery. It would look really good if the white was a light gray.

Since introduced I've been drooling all over that 370Z Nismo. Aesthetically very well made.

And your Forza Mustang looks awesome. I'm digging the Martini's inspired racing stripe.

Most of the guys hate SVT's thin stripes on the GT500 but I loved them. Specially in red over Sterling Gray.

I think it's kinda funny how much attention is going to a gray car. It wouldn't be a Mustang first, you know.

A good friend of mine had an 87 GT hatch that was a factory monochrome light gray. Even the cladding and spats were that color, not Titanium like most of the early GTs of that era. And it had a red stripe around the middle, in the moulding, as so many of them did.

It was very classy, but I don't think I ever saw more than a few in that combination even back when they were new. Much more rare now, 27 years later.

I have to admit Im sick of the four or five basic car colors and textures car manufacturers offer. Its as if car manufacturers refuse to take risks. Instead of new cars we get "evolutions". Instead of new colors and textures we get industry standard options.

Ford appears to be willing to step out and it makes me appreciate their efforts. In as much as this isnt a "new" color its far from common and I will take that any day over White/black/blue/red/silver/metallic gray.
