Man that is shitty. My stalker hood is being delivered Monday, I'm really hoping for nothing like this. How was the customer service when you called about this?

0 issues at all. Scheduled a pick up and sending a replacement

You talked to Cervinis directly? Out of curiosity, when about did you place this order?
Yeah contacted them by phone. And placed the order June 10th. They are currently out of stock. So I’m kinda debating if I want to go elsewhere or wait for a replacement, whenever that may be

Question for all you body work ppl out there. I know the scuffs go away with prep work. But the crack under the hood, is this something that’s fixable and won’t hurt the durability of the hood?
Debating if I should Send it back, as I ordered this for a car show in two weeks. The hood still hasn’t been picked up or scheduled to be. And I’m sure the replacement won’t get here in time

By my eye the fibres look broken.

If they are and if you cant strengthen that area from the back of the panel, it will never be as strong as it should be.

I reckon you will be kicking yourself in future if you do anything other than send it back ... :frown:

So that is how the box was sitting in the delivery truck, like that? Who wouldn't see something wrong with THAT even while trying to load the carton initially???? Wtf
