Hi all!
I really want to get the Cervini hood, but the way the curvature doesn’t line up with the curvature of the front bumper really bothers me. Can anyone post photos of the curvature issues with the Cervini hood so I can get a clear picture on how it aligns before I buy the hood?

thanks!

It just looks like it doesn't fit. I wonder how others' cars are because I haven't seen it look this bad on most ppl's cars but idk if it's because they take pictures from a more flattering angle

That picture is straight from Cervini's advertising. It's more noticeable due to the angle and lighting in this picture but all the ones I've seen pictures of have the bump where it meets the bumper.

That’s because it’s essentially a cowl hood with a louver in the center. If you look closely at even the actual GT500 hood itself It has a similar bump. Not as pronounced but it’s there.

I tried to find a picture for comparison but wasn't able to find anything. Can you post a picture showing the bump on the actual GT500?

I took this photo after adjusting my STANDARD hood as it came 'very' low from the factory :

It might provide a useful comparison for you if someone can photo the equivalent side profile with the Cervinis's hood :like:

I can tell you first hand that with the lime, any mismatch in hood height (and therefore angle) is very apparent due to how the light bounces back off the paint.

My advice is get the Trufiber hood. Completely different design with more of a “real” GT500 shape to the hood in regards to the lines.

I like that the trufber louver can be swapped out with their carbon fiber louver.

The VicRez hood for 2018-2020 have no photos on the site. The photos they are using are of a 2015-2017 hood bolted to a 2018-2020 Mustang. You can tell because the hood doesn't line up at all. The finders don't line up and neither do the headlights. THAT really makes me nervous that the company selling it doesn't even have a photo of it installed with good fitment. Until they update their photos with a hood that actually fits the model they are claiming it is for, it isn't an option for me.

When I bought their GT500 front bumper, (Fit Real Nice), but had not a clue about the car which they took the mold from. I feel all of their stuff is China Copied and they have no engineer or technical expert working for them.
