So today I got a letter from Ford telling me that my hand-built Niche Line engine may not have had the secondary timing chain tensioner properly activated during assembly, which can result in a loss of camshaft timing.
Ford is offering a mobile (on-site) inspection of my car. So, I'll let them come look at it I guess. The bulletin doesn't say not to drive the car, but now how can I drive it knowing it faces catastrophic failure if the cam timing shifts and helps introduce a valve to a piston?
EDIT-I searched the forum under just "21B26" and found a discussion on it. It's referred to on this forum as a TSB
