Not sure where folks are seeing sky-high valuations. Just for fun, I input my 2020 GT350 (650 miles on odo) into the edmunds site. I paid msrp last year. Valuation came back as 10k below that.
Thanks CJ! I’ll let you know how it goes. Goal is to debut it at a local show on Father’s Day. Currently undergoing service on axles, bearings, brakes and clutch hydraulics...... it’s a 1969 Cadillac Gage V-100 and was sent to Vietnam in the fall of 1969, so I feel like a caretaker. I think...
Thanks Bob! Started reading through the posts. This forum is amazing for the info it provides.
I’ve not driven my 2020 GT350 much this spring, since picking it up in Nov 2020 and promptly garaging it for the winter. It’s at about 500 total miles on the odo and hasn’t seen north of 4000 rpm...
So today I got a letter from Ford telling me that my hand-built Niche Line engine may not have had the secondary timing chain tensioner properly activated during assembly, which can result in a loss of camshaft timing.
Ford is offering a mobile (on-site) inspection of my car. So, I'll let them...
Well I used to worry about “miles until empty” until I realized that shark fin thingy on the roof pops open to reveal a port for air-to-ground refueling. I signed up for the airborne tanker package at the dealer when I took delivery of my GT350. When I get to <50 miles of range I can summon a...
The eagle has landed! Finally got the car on Friday, in the pouring rain from the Zeta storm remnants. Then temps went into the 20’s overnight, then pouring rain on Sunday and 40-50 mph winds yesterday. Finally got the car out of the garage without hazard of flying tree limbs. Supposed to be...
Thanks for the tip on the wheels, but I can't buy them if they won't work for my plans. Interestingly, if you want to want to buy a new OEM wheel from Ford, you have to pay a core charge of $50 if you don't return the old wheel. I'm assuming that the Chinese OEM wheels have a lot of problems...
Hell, I don't even have the car. I'm on my second delayed delivery date now, Ford has pushed it back from Oct 17 to Nov 01.
I'm trying to line up some late season wheels/tires I can use, because if I can get the car by EOW this week, we appear to have a decent window of 40-55 degree weather...
I started a dedicated thread on a square tire set up but maybe the respondents here can help. I want to run stock 2020 GT350 front rims on the REAR of the car. Want to run 28535/19 width tires all around. Will this work?
Mine was now pushed from delivery today to 01 Nov. Second time the date has shifted. Misery loves company, pal!
Going outside now to start bringing in firewood to stack by the stove. Going to be 29 here Saturday night. Thanks Ford, for wanking away two weeks of gorgeous October...
Hi all- have been entirely overwhelmed by the tire topics on the forum, have filled up a notepad with every possible iteration of tires/rims for the GT350 and I'm more confused then when I started. There seem to be so many options that I'm kind of punch drunk at this point, so I'm starting my...
Well the thread started with a pic of a Rapid (or Ruby) Red 350 w/ black stripes stuffed into a barrier. That’s the exact car I’m getting delivered this week. Made me a believer!! I think that car is totaled, but very glad the driver was apparently unhurt.
Well, I'm ashamed to admit that my hometown dealer has (so far) advertised the highest ADM I've heard of on a GT500 (admittedly, I was shopping for GT350's, not 500's), where sticker is $105,990 and "MSRP" is $169,900, a delta of $63,910. Car is a CFTP w/ painted stripes, tech pkg and cover...
I tapped the rev limiter more than once on my GT500, on the way up and under throttle because traction became compromised. Not sure if the limiter cut fuel and spark or both. No harm done, though it is a bit unnerving. Now a mechanical over-rev (a mis-shift, as opposed to a missed shift) is...
