custom sub enclosures

Good day everyone. I'm new to posting here, 1st time. I wanted to share some pics of my subwoofer enclosure i built. I eventually plan on a full audio upgrade and am making an amp rack complete with fans and leds. But for now i am laid up recovering from a surgery. Boo hiss. Here is my enclosure, wrapped in carbon fiber with some airbrush work. I'm running a kicker L7S102 sub powered by a kicker 1200.1 amp. For now it's turned way down as it easily overpowers the factory system, but as my audio system grows, so can this setup. I would love to see what other people have created!

Nice work. Did you use fiberglass for your shape or is this MDF and putty?

It was mdf and fiberglass. Lots of itchy days sanding it lol.

That’s badass! I have zero knowledge of working with composites so I stuck with MDF and some advanced router techniques.

I have picked up a lot of info from this site, and hope i can contribute a little back! Someone else may have already posted this, but i discovered while doing some wiring work, that a 1/4 inch 10mm deep well socket fits perfectly into the hood release lever to detach it
