Corsa Xtreme Catback

I'm pretty sure I want to go the Corsa Xtreme route also. I'll eventually do longtube headers as well. I'm in an apartment complex so I'm sure the apartment above my garage probably won't be too happy.

Will the 3 inch X pipe match directly up with say some Kooks headers when I get them at a later date?

the kooks, sw and sp are a direct bolt connection, the arh can be modified to work as well

let me know, we can help out with the exhaust or any of the headers

No modification but you'll need a additional part. We've done a handful of installs with headers (performance connect) and the Corsa catback. What we've found is its a tad short. We simply installed a 6" 3" connector and all is well.

I debated doing a deeper exhuast, so when I add headers it sounds great. However I think corsa sounds way better, and with kooks it sounds ruthless. A member (rio) has a video of him winning a competition. He also has videos of before the headers, and seriously it sounds great before and after. that was a big decision maker for me.

Man I am with you, I was literally priving both borla and corsa and for an investment that will stay on my car for 5+ years the price wasn't a huge difference.
I love the muscle car sound, but I think that the corsa is just different. I like different. especially when the s550 becomes more popular and everyone has it, I think standing out will be nice. WORST case if you hate it, corsa is highly sought after on the used marketplace. Exactly my reasoning I figure "why not, if I hate it, I won't lose a ton, and if I love it, I won't have the regret of not trying it out"
Again I think borla is badass, i just personally want to try the corsas for the unique noise, tone, and volume it projects. Plus no drone (or so I hear)

Yea I agree. I hear the Borla Atak doesn't drone either though. I've listened to a ton of youtube clips, lol. It's hard to gauge how it really sounds though just listening to clips. It normally sounds much different in person.

Yea I totally agree. I went on a whim and got corsa after hearing the Ford Racing by Borla. I got a better deal on corsa and wasn't completely won over by the Ford Racing.
I hear great things about the ATAK. I just don't like the finish on them. I hate rolled tip personally. But I've heard good things, maybe too loud, but thats what some say about the corsa as well. I didn't price the ATAK's but I think they are cheaper? don't hold me to that though.
It's a huge decision man, I'm hoping I made the right one haha

Rio, has anyone told you your exhaust sounded ricey? I think that's what scare people from Corsa. the lack of "deep throaty flowmaster magnaflow muscly sound" I think that yours sounds like a bat out of hell. granted it has headers, but even the video you have without headers, I don't think it sounds ricey for a single second throughout the tack.

I am lookin forward to my install to say the least your build is something I'm lookin at. kooks down the road hopefully.

HAHA yes ive heard that... but its that double x pipe..it not an H pipe that can give u that Low deep tone.. maybe you can combine an H w the corsa axle backs.. havent seen that done over here but i think it will work.

Oh thats going to annoy me haha I don't want some schmuck telling me my 5.0 big ass muscle car sounds like a ricer. I got the catback, so I'll have the double x. I'll try to get some vids, might not come in until next week UGH

I like that. it sounds like this thing is going to be insanely loud, I just hope it sounds as GOOD as it does loud.

People say loud and you hear it over and over till you think you are strapping a jet engine to your car. It's a good loud. Your expectations are too high...it's a great exhaust your worries will be put to bed soon. Think of it like all your friends saying have you seen this movie it was spook awesome and then you see it and it is awesome but they over hyped it.
