By this logic all medicine should be just a few cents per pill, screw research and development. You go on to say that Corsa sounds very good, probably the best currently. Did you ever stop to think how they created that sound? Surely not by just slapping $50 of steel tubing on a car and calling it a day. You're not just paying for materials, you're paying for the effort it took to design an exhaust that, by your own words, is probably the best sounding exhaust currently.

But, nah, you've got it all figured out... When are you going to design/build your own equally good sounding exhaust systems and sell them for a fraction of the price thus helping the aftermarket community find cheaper parts, solving the problem you've imagined up, and making yourself rich in the process?
Bingo! @GDP what crawled up your booty today? People can spend what they want, and amazingly theyre not dumb for doing so, or inflating the market, there will always be different levels of parts at different price points. The Ford Racing catback is only a couple hundred less for a basic 2 muffler x-pipe system everyone makes? MBRP is cheap, but its a pretty damn simple design with drone. Corsa spent a lot of money developing and patenting a double helix x-pipe. It also has zero drone and a unique sound. You get what you pay for, sure its just some metal piping but the R&D that goes into it is what you paid for.

Its no different than when you buy tires. Sure you could put some cheap off brand all season rubber on your car, but are you going to?

So we all should stop purchasing this product so the manufacturer sells it to us cheaper? Ok, sounds logical....NOT.

well i like the look of it, plus that it is in a box. Any Info as to when it will be avaiable and at what cost? Is a Tune required? Questions, questions...
Yeah, same here. Also, let's get this thread back on topic.

Like everything Corsa, we will be stocking it. There are always those few that will complain about pricing. Roughly 50% of our customers who've purchased Corsa was due to them switching over from another brand.

We're testing the 11-14 brand and will soon be offering packages with the Corsa CAI and exhaust options.

But your foolish in this case paying $1200 + for some steel tubing that costs probably about $50 to produce.
You're high if you think full catback systems cost anywhere near $50 to produce. Mandrel bending is very expensive as is T-304 stainless steel. Add in the labor/production costs as well as the cost of the R&D that went into designing the system and that's where these companies get their pricing from. Sure, $1200-$1400 is pricey for some of these systems but I can promise you, a lot of costly work goes into designing and manufacturing them. If it's so cheap and easy to make, why don't you go buy some lengths of 3" T-304 stainless and find a shop to mandrel bend it for you.

Wow GDP, did you really want a Corsa? It's just a preference for some. To say that those of us that have Corsa products are what is wrong with the aftermarket industry is extremely ridiculous. I personally did not trade in a BMW for my Mustang, I traded my Tacoma. Why did you pay for a GT, instead of a V6 or an EB, probably because you wanted that 5.0L V8 under your hood, like the rest. Are you part of the problem with the car industry? They make them we all bought one? These threads and posts are suppose to be filled with info and ideas about how we all want to make our cars faster, handle better and look more of the way we as individuals would like. Turning it into another rant about something unrelated to the initial post is silly and kind of sad.

What Bhoris said.

I'm currently fabbing a custom H-pipe for an old car and bought two pieces of 304SS tube, essentially 40" long with a 15* mandrel bend in the center, which I'll be cutting up to build it. Just that tubing alone cost almost $130.....

Some people feel like it's their God-given right to shit on people because of the choices they make for themselves.

@GDP, you're one of them. You don't like Corsa's pricing? Guess what, you're not the king of aftermarket economics. And it's sad that you really think anyone really cares about your opinion on their pricing or cares what you think we should spend our money on. Get off your high horse.

Hell, if you're really bored why don't you go to the GT350 and 50th Anniversary LE Mustang sections and pester them about paying ADMs and how it somehow affects you.:chill::dnftt:

Congrats on being the problem with the aftermarket industry the last 10 years. You can justify the purchase price however you want, its your money. But your foolish in this case paying $1200 + for some steel tubing that costs probably about $50 to produce.

I agree corsa does sound very good, probably the best right now. But no one should be paying $1200-$1400 for a catback EVER. But since people like you have more money than common sense your creating an artificial ceiling companies like corsa can get away with charging, while screwing your less financially available enthusiasts.

Did a bunch of BMW owners convert to mustangs recently?
Stop complaining and stick to the factory exhaust.

I have to admit I did cringe a little paying for my Corsa catback, but I know I got the best exhaust on the market. After having a Corsa system on my h/c/i vette years ago and having zero drone I knew I wanted a similar system for my current car.
Yikes, the negativity is running high on 6G today lol... Good thing I have all these gold coins to swim in... smh

Duck Tales!!! I used to watch that when I was a little kid

Can you tell us more about the new intake? Is it a tune required? Does it have A removable insert? What kind of filter?
