Cooling fans turning on late

I’m currently fighting a cooling issue with my car where it will warm up as normal and stays cool while driving but as soon as I come to a stop cht reach around 232 and the radiator fans finally turn on, I’ve replaced the thermostat, and radiator fans all fuses seem to be fine as well.

Have a tuner set the fan on to a lower temp

That's how they are in the stock tune, although unless it's like 120* outside it shouldn't get that hot just putting around.

You'll need a tune to lower the temps they turn on.

And definitely make sure your radiator air inlet shields LT and RT are sealed as well as the lower air shield/deflector

As someone mentioned this is normal due to the programming of the fans. See the table in this link: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/radiator-fan-temperature.165260/



If you're driving with the AC on, this sometimes helps keep the temps lower in stop and go traffic (because the fan will be on) unless you're in extreme heat. I used to see 110C regularly in around town traffic with no AC on.

Now with the power pack 2 I don't see over 96C in normal driving.
