If you have this option and have used it, what do you think? Does it only work on the seat bottom or on the backrest to? I want to order a 16 GT premium with the performance package and if I were to not pick the recaros it would only be for this option.. If it works well. Thanks in advance for any and all information.

The summer is the best time for cooled seats. Also the Recaro's are manual as well, I love the easy exit feature as it moves the seat back to get in and out, another of my favorite features. If you aren't taking the car to a road course the stock seats should provide decent support especially when the seat belt locks. Have you driven a mustang with both options?

Mine are cooling the bottom, but not the back on either side. And, in Georgia summertime, cooling the back would be an improvement.

No I haven't driven them I plan on going to a dealer in the next week or two that has a bunch of mustangs that I can look at with the different options.

They're supposed to cool the bottom and back cushions. Some people have reported the backs not cooling. If it's not take it in for service.

Took mine in for the seat backs not cooling and they ordered new seat back cushions for me. They say they will be here early June.

I think the heated/cooled leather is going to be the choice. I'm going to go look in person and drive but I'm starting to lean more and more towards that option

I'm in the same boat. Test drove one and the salesman said his back was being cooled and the drivers seat was not. So many mixed reviews of both work and the bottom work. Whats suppose to work on my EB premium? I want both.

If I am in the car, the heated/cooled seats are in use. My passengers also seem to get addicted to the cooled function since it does a great job of preventing swamp ass/back from the leather seats that hug you.

I usually drive with it on "2" unless I've been in the car for a while and then it goes down to "1." It's hardly noticeable at these settings, but they still work great (swamp free!), "3" is great if the car has been sitting out in the sun and you need to cool them down quickly but will freeze your giblets if you leave it on for too long.

Leaving Busch gardens or Disney on a hot ass day and having cooled seats is a godsend.

Love this feature! It was a big reason, if not THE reason, that I "needed" a premium.

Setting 3 gets cold quickly. Granted, summer hasn't arrived yet.
