I'm not scared...just realistic...
But don't worry...I'll send out AAA to pull your Mustang out of the snow after you've high centered it in a snow drift...
In any decent sized snow storm...your Mustang would be useless because of the low ground clearance...
I spent most of my life in the Snowbelt before moving to Houston...
When I lived in the Snowbelt...changing to winter tires was just too much of a hassle...and you have to have a suitable area to store the summer wheels/tires...etc...
With current the popularity & availability of sporty AWD...
Of course Ford has the engineering ability to develop & produce an AWD Mustang...
The question is at what price point... and is there enough demand?
I've owned several AWD sport coupe's...they're wonderful!!

Very well spoken!
I absolutely agree with you!
This is a country that allows the opportunity to earn a great living... and enjoy the automotive play-toys of his or her choice!
:amen:
Certainly not trying to pick on the S550 Mustang...great vehicles!
But...my new Mercedes just reminds me how much extra agility a trimmer & lighter Mustang might offer...can you imagine a 3350 lb Mustang...that would rock!
FYI...I drove a new Camaro this week...wow...what a great handling...
And who really cares whether the Mustang outsells the redesigned Camaro?
A lot of the sale volume depends on manufacturer & dealership incentives...since the Mustang is no longer a new model...the dealership's are offering huge discount on S550's...I assume the new Camaro is being sold closer...
Agreed...front visibility is comprised by the excessively long hood...there is a minimum of 6" inches of unnecessary overhang on the present S500...
But...the overall styling on the S500 is wonderful...great looking car...just a bit excessive in proportions ...
