who else feels the cooled seats aren’t that great in the stang? sure they work, but they don’t blow that hard even on the highest setting. in comparison, I got into my bosses new ’22 Expedition XLT with cooled seats, and holy crap, the second you turn them on you FEEL it…whereas in the stang, you really don’t until a little bit, and even then it’s like “meh.”
The Expo has the ActiveX fake leather (which feels real nice like real leather surprisingly) and the stang is real leather…so i wonder if that has anything to do with it?
In turn, the heated seats work great I feel in the stang hmm

I thought mine worked okay? But I recently bought a 2022 Ram Limited and now I realize the mustangs cooled seats fucking suck lol.. 😂. The bottom does okay but backrest is like non existent.

There was a long thread on this, IIRC there's a problem with the way air is picked up and circulated into the back of the seat. Someone made a 3D printed mod that seemed to work well but they're not longer available.

My 2016 cooled seats work amazing. I never need to go above the 1st level.

Wish I'd seen that in the past. The bottom seat in mine is fine, but with the way mine performs, I honestly thought the back wasn't part of the system.

Exactly, it was a common complaint when the S550 came out. Some folks also thought it was too good in the base and felt like sitting in a pool of cold water. Ford released a revision but it didn't really solve anything.

They work, but only just. They're kind of OK-ish at best.
If you leave them on the maximum setting for a long enough time, they will eventually cool down.

Yeah I always do max setting. No point in any less lol. Heat on the other hand I have to adjust accordingly.

Mine work great, butt and back! My wife’s “21 Expedition work just as well, only difference being they are louder. After driving the mustang the cooled seats in my ‘20 Sierra seems non-existent. The cooled seats in my ‘16 Ram Laramine sucked! It was nothing but fan noise. Never actually cooled anything! Guess I got lucky in the mustang,LOL

Mine work great. I don't have to go past #1 setting most of the time.

They work better on the leather seats than the miko suede in the GT/CS

I thought that they worked fine in my 2017 convertible. About the same as my wife's 2019 Lincoln.

That is one thing I miss in my 2019 - heated and cooled seats. I have the "red package" with the leather Recaro seats and they don't put heat or cooling in those.

No complaints here. In my '16 GT350 (w/ the tech pack) the seat cushion and back both seem to cool well enough. Heat works great too. 🤷‍♂️
