Hey All,
Recently completed the first tune of my 6r80 d1x GT. With the base pulley and pump it ran a 7.0@104 BUT it's very slow off the line as to be expected...best 60' was 1.75. It looks like the converter will only hold between 2000-2500 RPM.
Ultimately I'd like to get this car into the low 9's quarter mile wise with obviously more work, so I'd like a converter capable of it. The car will occasionally be street driven but mainly track. I was thinking a 3c or 4c on MT ET Street R's. Anyone have experience with either?
