yes going from a 4200 rpm stall to a 3200 rpm stall now that i have the D1x blower...in the process i will be flushing the factory fill trans fluid in favor of amsoil sig series atf fluid and a updated tune..im more street then track so i don't need that much stall...You switching for another setup?
If guys are pulling a 1.3x 60 foot on a 3c I honestly dont see how I'd need much more than that.
Your original post said mainly track. With that being said Id do the 4c over 3c. I run a 4c in my car and its a daily driver. No issues at all. Yes it does rev more during light acceleration, but thats comes along with the performance advantage of a higher stall speed. when the converter locks, its just like stock. RPM drop is less between shifts also. If you get the 3c you will constantly think "what would it do with the 4c???)....You switching for another setup?

Yeah I’m going to be replacing my 5c with an FTI 3200 stall with my D1x set up. Like you mine is not installed yet.. but soon...I have an FTI 3800 stall for my D1-X setup, but don't have it installed yet. Just to give you something else to consider, there was a lot of praise for FTI when I was looking for options.
Here is where you buy them from, they are an FTI dealer:Awesome, thank you for info @Dominant1 . Please report back once you've had a chance to test yours. I'll definitely consider an FTI unit when I'm ready for a converter.
That's bad ass...i'm salivating with anticipation.....I have about 3000 miles on mine so far and alot of 1/4 mile passes and seems fine so far.If u were to.drive my car i bet u would not even know it had a convertor. But i went from a 1.73 60 ft to a 1.44 60 ft just from the convertor.
