I contacted them. It was a weekend and the block was sitting on a stand, waiting for that. I didn't think it'd be an issue to see if anyone had run their crank prior so I could get one ordered and things moving again.
Yo all,
I'm getting around to building a short block I've had sitting for a while. It includes a Callies compstar crank; the snout is super deep and the stock length balancer bolt won't even touch the threads. Anyone run an aftermarket crank with the same situation that could point me in the...
These are the heavier version of Manley’s I-beam, one step down from the 300m.
Brand new; Decided to step the goal up so had to go with a bit beefier rod. Waited 2 months for these…lowest you will find these is $1700 shipped after all’s said and done (they range typically from $1750-$1850)...
This is a great post and people should heed this advice: I ran a d1x on the largest pulley on a stock engine and compared to a p1x we dynoed, I would have been better off with the p1.
Nutty man. I would probably look at the 300M rods or even an aluminum rod with the power you're going for. I went to boostlines which at "rated" to 2000, but I'm always of the camp to not run things on the limit.
And ya, I figured if someones looking for this level of rod, no wait and a bit of...

Posting just because I have zero artistic skills so I was actually proud of how this came out 😂
Have cerakoted engine mounts, manual rack, turbo hot side, timing cover, oil pan, and valve covers. Most have just been a shade of black, but valve covers I did a light spray over of “desert sand”...
Ahaha, it would be a fab nightmare to fit two of these things. I really did not expect it to be this big...the plan is to use the front bumper support as a brace :cwl:
Don't think you can delete the ABS module with it. That said, I'll be doing my own delete...doesn't seem to difficult. I'll post it up if people would like when I'm finished.
Or if anyone has close
Thanks buddy. Secondary is the feeling of a mechanical pedal...I do find it appealing to feel more travel and the actual tension rather than having a shorter stroke on the pedal.
Ya I saw that one and was wondering if it could be run without ABS. I'll reach out to them but also figured I'd see if anyone knew of another route. Thanks!
Thought this might be the best forum to ask as I know some guys run/prefer manual brakes for track.
Has anyone done one for an S550? I’m finding ABS delete plates for every chassis but ours.
