Hi,
I looked up 235 50 zr 18 continental dws06 + yesterday, they're discounted to $166, that's 40 low. So I ordered a pair.

My original tires pirelli Nero zero are noisy, only 14000 miles on them and still have plenty of tread. Can't stand the noise

Tirerack has the rating on the dws06 + really low, in the past they were top rated, anybody have a recent negative experience with them?

I bought continental tires for my pickup this spring, had to send a pair back for excessive hunter road force, got 4 others from a different source, now less than 2000 miles and they vibrate at highway speeds. Going back to the tire dealer this week...

Is continental having problems?

Thanks, Jerry

Have a newish (4000-4500 miles) set of DWS06s on the wife's rig, zero complaints here.

I'm running 285/35/19s in those and I really like them. No issues. Balanced easy, run smooth. Way better in the rain than the trash Pirelli. They're a lil slick until they have about 100 miles on them. I'd order them again. I just looked at the site and do not see any negative reviews.

No problems for over a year now. REALLY happy with my DWS06 Plus. 305/30/20. Super quiet compared to the Michelins I had on. Night and day. If you're driving the car daily, you'll probably be happy.

I swapped out my Pirelli's with the Conti's and they've been great so far. I have about 4000 miles on them at the moment. They are fairly quiet and have superior grip compared to the Pirelli's, wet or dry. I would buy them again without question.

OP, I don't see any reviews at all in that particular size on Tire Rack. Perhaps check the reviews on Discount Tire, who now owns Tire Rack. I've never actually seen bad reviews on this tire. They are comparable to the all-season Michelin. I have run them on different cars and had no issues.

check the TR detailed listing. One of the columns is country of origin. If for some reason there is a rash of bad reviews on a particular size the origin column may shed some insight. But generally speaking they are fantastic tires all around.

i've had em for a while. the only downside form the Pzeros is i think the pirelli's are actually stickier sooner but overall these seem to be better in terms of noise and predictability.

Never heard anyone say that before. My experience with the pzeros has been like rollerskating on ice. The pzeros were absolute trash in every aspect.

I ordered a second set based on input I got hear today, thanks.

I'm taking them for mounting n balancing to a local tire shop that has a Hunter balance machine with the road force measurement.
Hunter road force was what failed on my pickup tires Continental Terraincontact H/T in LT 275 70r 18. First time I bought LT tires, which have extra plies, thicker so there more suseptible to balance issues. The tire shop I found that has the Hunter balance machine said he gets into it with BFG n Mich on large 34"-35" tires used on pickups n jeeps over excessive Hunter road force.
Continental tech support recommended the Hunter balance machine with road force a d are great to deal with.
Thanks,Jerry
