Hello all. A friend of mine with 2015 GT decided to do what I did to mine. He purchased a GT350 TB and JLT intake and a Lund tune. I helped him with the install. Just like I did on mine, I backed up the stock tune, disconnected the battery and proceeded with the install. At the end we flashed the tune he received from Lund using their device. All was smooth until he started the car. There are 4 codes. 3 of them are the p0315 - Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned, and the other one is P068A - ECM/PCM Power Relay De-Energized Performance - Too Early and his cooling fan is stuck on. We tried to reconnect the battery, checked the terminals, cleared the codes and they keep coming back. Not sure what it is about since mine had no such issue. Fuses look all ok. We did not touch any wiring except for the MAF plug. Battery is putting our 13.6v. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'd load the stock tune. Redownload the tune from lund onto the device and try again. Make sure to have a tender or a good charge on the battery. If that doesn't work, talk to lund and ensure its the right file or not corrupted. Might have not fully flashed or maybe something goofy happened transfering the file onto the device.

The first one you can just clear. The second one you need to do a simple crank relearn.

Stock tune is where I would start if that solves the issues its going to save you tons of chasing your tail if it dont I would diagnose on the stock tune get and go from there. And also reach out to lund they r the best for a reason hope it works out

What happens if you load the stock tune?
We did flash back to stock but the car runs like complete shit, so bad that he's aftaid to even keep it running long enough to check the codes. He's got the intake that requires a tune plus the bigger throttle body. No issues before the install. We'll try to flash while the battery is connected to a charger and see if it makes a difference

Well, the charger solved the issue. Thanks to everyone who recommended it. Hooked up a battery charger. Flashed it again and the ECM/PCM code is gone. Did a relearn after and its all clear now. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

This is why I never flash without being on a charger. You think your battery is good, but you never know..

I've heard of comps getting bricked that way. Glad he got it sorted out with no real consequences.

Can't clear it. Comes back right away.
So you did the relearn procedure (not a simple clearing of the P0315 code)? You might have to try it again. I had to run that every time I loaded a tune on my GT. But that was the only code that popped up for me.

I agree with an earlier post about making sure to have your battery charged up well before tuning.

Yes, I had to do a relearn on his car, otherwise the code wouldn't go away. I had no such issue when I did my car tho.
