Ran s-types on my 2009. Cmon Borla! I want to see what you have (S-type/ATAK) before spending my money but making it very hard to keep waiting. They need a full catback system too with choice of X or H.
Yep. I am hoping for an H pipe from them due to the reports of SW and MRT having drone.

That is very interesting they are this far behind their competitors. These other vendors seemed to have prototyped their system, got it production ready with pricing in under 3 weeks. Hell, some of them had it done in a week or less.
When you get right down to it, the evidence seems to imply that with most exhaust vendors, "R&D" is just getting correct fitment for whatever design of exhaust they already make.

I suspect that it is just a matter of making the pipe bends and attachment points right and picking an existing muffler that will work with the space available.

I couldn't figure out the lack of dyno information, coming from a motorcycle performance exhaust background I had never even heard of a performance exhaust that did not have the dyno info. I finally figured out that manufacturers don't supply the info because they do not have it and have not made any attempt to maximize performance.

Exhaust systems are like 500% profit. The labor and materials, done on a mass scale like Borla or Magnaflow, are what maybe $200? The tubing is cheap. So it costs them probably $200 tops and sell it for $1,000. Nice markup for"R&D"

That's one of the reasons I'm waiting for Borla and Corsa to finalize their designs. I really appreciate the extra work to eliminate drone.
