Love my Air-raid...doesn't really matter what brand you go with...once the stock air-box is gone...the stock resonators are gone and the car will sound different...also, installing one does not necessarily void the factory warranty...I say this because I have been to my ford dealer twice fore repairs (diagnosis and replacement of APIM...which has to be looked at AGAIN) and they didn't seem to mind...maybe just the air intake warranty portion will be voided...but if you keep everything, then there shouldn't be a problem :)

I had the airaid on my v6 I loved it for sound and looks. The roush is ugly IMO with that bowl around the filter lol. But to each his own. Anything is better then the stock airbox. Intake works best with a tune.

completely agree on the roush. id like to try the JLT, to me its the best design. thought probably wouldn't be much better, if at all than my custom one.

Probably not, you would just be wasting money lol but i do like JLT intakes though. They always perform well.

I recently put in a K&N Typhoon CAI and I love it! After couple weeks after putting in a Flowmaster axle back, I felt like it needed something a little more.

So the combination of the axle back and CAI really made the difference for me. Plus the "swoosh" sound from the intake is pretty awesome lol.

Wondering if there are dyno charts or videos for JLT.

Anyone have the Roush Intake/Outlaw Axleback setup? What do you think of it? I just intalled the Roush Intake which is pretty darn loud even with windows up so I dont want it to become unbearable if I install the Outlaw axlebacks.

I have the roush intake and flowmaster outlaw axlebacks. I agree, I think the roush intake is very loud which Im not too happy with. As for the flowmaster outlaw's, Im really happy with my choice. They sound pretty deep and not too raspy at higher rpms. You will get some drone though. Usually at 2k rpms and up. So driving on the highway going 70mph and up will get some drone. Lots of people have said that putting bbk shorty headers have helped a lot with the drone so Ill find out for myself when I get some in.

I picked up the Roush CAI from DR_ and I'm quite happy with the sound. I've never heard a CAI make such a sound improvement on a vehicle. Sounds much, much more aggressive. Looking forward to hearing it paired with the Roush axle-back exhaust. Haven't seen any videos of a V6 with that pairing on YouTube or on here yet.

I actually quite like the looks of the Roush CAI as well. I suppose I'm a bit biased, but, I like the look of the bowl and the filter.

My 2 cents is that you can't go wrong with a CAI on a V6. I'm confident that any less restrictive design will help it breathe better and, as a by-product, sound better.

I'm looking to purchase JLT CAI this week but I have one question tho.. My 1/4 mile times at drag strip is 13.6 - 13.7 will JLT CAI help me get into 13.4 - 13.5?
