Will the stock cross brace fit? Did not look like it would fit.
No it won’t fit. CJ is really tall. Car still has the K brace though which is more than enough.

Well I put the Cobrajet setup on the dyno and it did not disappoint! 540whp/460TQ SAE. Shop temp was in the upper 70’s down here in southern Florida. Pull was in 5th gear 1:1.

Really great power for bolt on parts and tuning.

Mods are:

Lund E85R tune
unported Cobrajet intake manifold
VMP 137 Monoblade TB
PMAS CJ intake utilizing stock air box
Corsa Catless longtubes
Stock resonated cat back

Here is a picture of when the car was just stock tune with cat deletes and proflex commander and made 486whp on the same dyno. I had the shop overlay the runs to show the gains.

Do you know which pmas cj intake you used to fit in stock box?

I know this thread is older. But has anyone used a new gen 2 CJ intake on the GT350? Im hoping lowering the motor with the BMR brackets is enough to clear. If not, what else could we do other than trimming the hood? Thats a last resort thing for me.

Steed engine mounts lower it a lot. I did bmr k member and steeda lowering mounts and did not have to cut hood

Cool good to know, thanks! Wonder if I would clear without the K member. Although I kind of want the BMR K member anyways lol

i think it might with the bmr brackets and steeda mounts. i only did the k member because with the ehaders on, i couldnt get to the engine mounts without dropping the subframe and if im dropping im gonna replace it lol

that’s a good point… I didn’t think of that. I’ll have to check to see how much clearance these stainless works headers have with the steering shaft.

you might able to get to them with those headers cuz they route normal. I noticed with the kooks, they routed two runners in one direction and two in a different direction completely blocking access to starter and motor mounts. But a buddy got American racing and they routed together and everything was open

Cool good to know, thanks man. What bolt ons do you have? What TB? And is the CJ ported? Curious if you dyno what the power will be. Im hoping with full bolt ons on e85 to be right around 550whp.
