Agree, I like the upper right. Borla intakes are sweet but the price is
I just looked at that price and-

They cannot be serious... I was expecting like $2K - 3K.

EDIT: Lethal, not that your price is wrong or anything like that. I was insanely shocked.

I know it's expensive, but it's complete minus the tune. It's a very nice cast manifold, 8 throttle bodies, all the electronics, fuel rails, linkages, etc etc. It's also not something that is high volume so it will be more expensive.

Do you know what the gains in Hp and tq are on a 5.0?

Yes, but that test isn't the greatest comparison. It's not uncommon for a 2015 5.0 to pick up 70whp+ just from the right headers and tune anyway.

Here are Rev Auto's GT dynos. Stock, then tune only, then JLT and retune:

Then before and after headers and retune:

So, there's 520+ already.

I can't make it out on my phone, so how much did the intake gain?

375 stock
408 tune
421 JLT
450 headers

You couldn't count the intake and header gains as extra over the Borla setup because it has those things on the engine dyno.

So, they gained 95 flywheel with that setup, headers, and XR-1 mufflers.

Coyotes, Roadrunners, and the older NA modular Fords all make better power at optimal safe AFR. Usually .83-.87 lambda. He should gain a little, or stay the same if nothing else. He should be in the 12.0-12.5 range to make the most power when the tune is all finished up.
Interesting, never seen that. Even on my personal car, lean made a hair more power - fatten it up a bit and lost just a bit. Worth the safety.

I'm sure that somewhere in the upper .80s lambda or high 12:1 range would be where it stopped gaining anything and began losing some.

The Hogan twin plenum manifold developed with Twin Turbos would be phenomenal!:first:

Oh man want candy bad....that intake would put me in a diabetic coma. You have to go full race if you go that route. AN threaded lines and fittings, sheet metal valve covers too. Hide the wiring harness. Etc etc

That and the voodoo in a Factory Five kit would be sick and crazy stupid fast.

Do this and we will all be right behind you in full moral support . I love this hobby and there is always a few guys with enough cash to make it really fun to watch. :D:D:headbang::headbang::hail::hail::hail::ford:

Th Borla intake is awesome or go dual plenum lik a Ferarri.
