I contacted hogan intakes yesterday and spoke to Tim. I am thinking of having them make me a intake for my GT350. My goal has almost been reached with my current dyno pulls. As of now I have a stock GT350 5.2 with American Racing Headers and I went from 454rwhp to 484rwhp with just the headers on a lean stock tune. With a lean Lund flex fuel tune 14.02 AFR @ 6000rpm on 93 I pulled 511rwhp at a early 6000rpm lift still using the stock CAI. I'm pretty certain that with a corrected tune and E85 I can pull 550rwhp +. My thoughts are a larger throttle body and freer flowing intake I can make more power. Here are a few of their intakes for non 5.2 ford mod motors.

top right sure looks sweet. Gets it closer to the typical FPC arrangement.

Have you ever heard the term, "Lean is mean"? Typically, when a car is lean, it makes a little extra power - then a little fuel is added in for safety and the power decreases some. Don't you expect to give up a few ponies once you're at a safe AFR?

Coyotes, Roadrunners, and the older NA modular Fords all make better power at optimal safe AFR. Usually .83-.87 lambda. He should gain a little, or stay the same if nothing else. He should be in the 12.0-12.5 range to make the most power when the tune is all finished up.

You're going to have to worry about hood fitment.

No. They make it to your specific set up and clearances

All of those will require a stand alone PCM for tuning, but they would for sure make power. I also like the idea of getting rid of the drive by wire. We have some ITB intakes available by Borla that I think would also be awesome, but I don't want to thread hi-jack. Middle top and Right top look best to me.

Post away! This is a thread open for ideas and info. No worry about hi-jacking here.

I agree on the looks. But for 6500-10k id just put a Whipple on it like you. I want to keep it NA though. I'd like to see 650+ crank hp
