I also needed to get T-Body bolts, M6 x25mm and matching washers. Here are the pics. Keep in mind this is the mono blade, it may measure different for the double blade T-Body due to maybe a flange thickness difference?

it has an engine!
Well it was designed for the 2011-14 cars. Can't blame Ford or frpp for the intake not fitting the 2015+ the same way.

I had to remove the CJ intake when dropping the trans on the 2011-14 cars. Otherwise it would hit the firewall/cowl area. So not surprised if the 2015+ was the same as it looks tighter. Luckily the intake is easy to take on and off.
Of course it is. Still, they didn't make it easy to fit. They knew people would want to change the manifolds for more power. Unless they have plans for one for the s550. We'll have to wait and see.

Even in my pushrod Fox Body days, a breadbox style intake would interfere with the firewall for transmission work.

I am interested to see what the mono blade does with this combo. As well as more rpm out of the motor. Good luck

How do you build an intake for a car that isn't even made yet? in 2012 when this intake came out the S550 was probably in early development. FRPP couldn't have any idea what the finalized car would be. So they couldn't make the intake fit a 2015 production vehicle.

I would not doubt that there is a S550 specific intake manifold in the works.

OP has the monoblade, I'll be running the twin. From what I've seen the mono makes a bit more power but the twin is easier to tune for the street.

I think you'll do better than me with the twin, I think you made the better choice, the mono is more for crazy RPMS when in an N/A setup.

Yes you can use a stock twin 60mm Shelby throttle body or the FRPP 65mm twin or monoblade.

Thinking of picking up a stock twin 60mm throttle body, it does have more surface area then a single 90mm setup. Collecting parts for the winter here in Chicago.
