Hello fellow Mustang friends!
I must first say how impressed and grateful I am to the entire Mustang community, the friendliness, the wealth of knowledge, everything, you guys are awesome!
I'm wondering if anyone has upgraded to the Steeda 35lb clutch spring, and what you thought of it, thanks in advance for any feedback!
My ride is a stock 2017 GT convertible, 19 inch wheels with Pirelli PZero tires and PP1

Steeda clutch spring def offers better feel, not as numb as the stock spring. Makes the clutch pedal feel heavier tho.

One of the first mods I did. It's hard to describe but it makes you feel the pedal travel better.

I also did the Steeda clutch spring and it’s so much better than the stock one. I could never feel the bite point with the stock spring but the steeda one is right where I like it.

Did mine back in 2018 with their spring perch mounts.
Theres a silver lining to this in my unprofessional opinion. A few forum members have experienced clutch pedal arm pivot sleeve welds cracking. I believe it’s due to the OEM extremely heavy assist spring side loading the clutch pedal arm. The Steeda spring reduces the side load dramatically.
There’s a few other spring option available by other vendors but the Steeda is a solid choice.
I wouldn’t be without mine.
That OEM spring is designed to assist clutch pedal depression for the weak legged…..

I would recommend it for sure. The stock spring compression/decompression is strange, its hard to compress then easy to decompress making it awkward to have smooth starts. The steeda is generally heavier but at least its consistent.

I broke my spring perch installing mine though, beware. I ended up buying their upgraded spring perch because apparently many people end up breaking it.

The Steeda spring is way lighter compression than the OEM spring. The OEM spring is like a heavy rate high compression kids dirt bike swing arm spring. Totally ridiculous!
