Hi everyone,

Just did my first (mini)mod on my ecoboost. Installed the steeda clutch spring. It feels so much better and the transmission is shifting a lot more nicely, or so it feels like it anyway. Just confused about one thing:

I feel like the clutch pedal is now closer to the ground. Is that normal? Have I done something wrong. Please let me know your thoughts!

Cheers,

Mario

It isn't closer to the floor. Make sure there isn't any "play" up and down when the pedal is just sitting there; if you can't move it much at all up and down with your hand before the spring starts to engage, everything's fine.

Thank you. There's no upwards play at all, maybe a centimetre or 2 before resistance is felt. So that must mean all is good right?
