  1. Strange Lugnut issue on 2021 MUSTANG GT

Hi Jeremy, this is all very good advice from our Mustang friends. My car came with a mix of faux chrome lug nuts and real ones; whoever came up with this lame setup ought to be.... well you know, send back to school. Get rid of those faux lugnuts asap; I had a really hard time getting mine off...
  2. Tire Inflation Kit Question

Yikes, that's terrible. Very good advice Tom I think if you have Hagerty Insurance, as I do, which is a fantastic deal by the way, you have Roadside Assistance with the plus package Very much worth it.
  3. Tire Inflation Kit Question

Thanks John S. for mentioning the Brembo brake issue, that's exactly what mine are and I made sure the spare wheel is made for that application!
  4. Tire Inflation Kit Question

Hi Lorne, that is all very good advice. IMHO a full size spare is the best way to go. Just make sure it is in good condition and properly aired up. A jack and the appropriate tools also. I got a full size spare off Craigslist that was never used for a good deal from a guy who sold his Mustang. A...
  5. Thinking about getting back into a convertible Mustang

Good advice JohnnyBee A couple of other considerations you want to consider: Absolutely make sure the recalls have been done, or can be scheduled to be done Especially the trunk wiring harness in certain older models Mine was so bad I'm amazed anything was working back there at all...

Welcome to a great family of Mustang owners! Bought my 2017 GT Premium PP1 6M with 39K, one owner, very good condition The water pump with the plastic impeller failed at about 41K replaced with Ford Performance pump from AM, WAY better deal than Ford dealer, by more than 200$! Previously...
  9. 2015 mustang gt convertible

Hello Soloshot I did this upgrade on my 2017 Vert The subframe bushings are easy, easily done with jackstands But I highly recommend doing the differential bushings on a lift, I am so glad to have a few friends with lifts Makes it MUCH easier as the subframe has to be lowered quite a bit And the...

Thanks Crew4991 and everyone On a positive note, a good friend and fellow enthusiast gifted me a clay barring, polish, and ceramic coat of my car for my birthday OMG! I was amazed and floored by the results When we were done, the car looked like it had just come off the showroom floor I...

  14. Insurance Sham

Hello Mustang friends, I'm writing this to share a hard lesson learned. When I bought my 2017 Mustang GT two years ago, I'd never owned such an expensive and complex car. So I thought it would be good to have repair insurance. As we know, major repairs for these cars can get very expensive, and...

  18. Coolant leak

Hi Alex, sounds like you are taking very good care of your car IMO if you are using full synthetic oil, that might be a bit overkill, but that's ok, engines like fresh oil If you had a recall on the trunk wiring harness (leading to Sync 8 issues) , absolutely should do
