MANTIC quoted me $2k for a clutch with an engine making under 550hp . Mostly street, track a couple times a year. That's like saying I need a $2k fore fuel system for a stock car. Now I know why it comes in a briefcase.

Anyways, I wanna replace my clutch this coming fall. Stocker has 60k on it, it's not slipping grabs really good. But meh, gonna change it out. Was looking at the McLeod Super Street Pro clutch kit . Any of you's have this clutch ? How'd you like it ? Also any other recommendations ? Thanks.

I had this Spec twin disc on my 2017. Billet pressure plate, rated for 1010 torques, very nice smooth streetable engagement with very low pedal effort. One thing to note, if your going with a twin disc setup, you may want to consider the RAM (or similar) Pedal height adjuster. The twin disc assemblies are taller than the factory clutch assembly, so without the adjuster, the engagement point is a lot higher on the pedal than stock and can even damage the pressure plate springs because the travel of the internal throw out bearing remains the same.

Probably. I don't think the dual mass flywheel can be machined

Not sure if you've ever had a high torque performance clutch kit before (Single disc) but as you go up in clamping force, the pedal effort also increases substantially. Not only does this make for a giant left quad, but can also wear out the slave cylinder faster due to the extra hydraulic force on it. Just something to consider if not going for the twin disc setups.

My Ram Pro Street cerametallic twin disc has a light pedal feel to it. It engages just below half pedal travel. It came with a lightened aluminum flywheel. While it was pricey at $2300, but it is a very high quality clutch.
