Cleaning the PP wheels...

Has anyone found an easier way to clean the performance pack wheels? Was thinking of picking up a wheel cleaner spray, as well as a nice wheel brush. I just feel that there are too many crevices and tight spaces on these wheels that a brush won't be able to reach.

Any recommendations? A wash mitt isn't cutting it anymore... :doh::lol:

Ive been using a brake dust remover, then water then regular carwash soap and a rag. Its a PITA and the main reason why I want to ditch the PP wheel

I tend to use either ammo plum wheel cleaner or black magic and i also have the wheel brush that is super soft and the medium sized wheel wooly. Works great. I use the brush for the outside part of the rim and then the wheel wooly for all the inside crevices.

wax or glass coat them, this will make them much easier to clean. Other than normal washing I just use a microfiber rag lightly sprayed with chemical guys quick mist a couple times through out the week.

Another vote for woolies - I got the same set as Chris, and they're awesome. Cleaning the PP wheels sucks no matter what, but these make it as painless as it can be. Waxing helps a lot too.

Wheel woolies are the best for these wheels. If you don't let them go too long regular soap and water will get them clean without needing additional chemicals.

Yup I have the 3 pack of wheel woolies and the medium 45 degree one. Those and some D143 work magic on there. I no longer have my PP wheels thankfully but the Wheel Woolies are worth every penny.

Microfiber wheel duster followed by Turtle Wax Black Detail Spray removed by microfiber towel. Do it every few days and it takes about 90 seconds per wheel.
