To all who have purchased pre-painted hoods from Cervini… how was the paint? Good match? I have a Magnetic Metallic Mustang and am looking at getting the stalker hood. Wondering if I should go unpainted or if will pre-painted do

I mean,If it looks like crap why can't it be sanded and repainted by a professional. Roll the dice on it matching up well and if not then have it done.

i had 2 reasons i painted /fitted my one
one im in Australia and they only come unpainted
and two i dont trust transport companys

but i must add they are quality made perfect fit and finish i refitted the rubber seal and washers all in all 10/10

by the way i had just bought ford performance hood struts but they said to fit theirs(CERVINI) due to different weights

I love mine too. Ordered it prepainted in triple platinum and the color match was perfect as well as fit however mine did come with a tiny hairline crack in the clearcoat near the front edge of the hood. It's very small and was hardly noticeable so I didn't worry about it. It's been on my car for over two years with no issues whatsoever.

Nice! Car looks sick!! Some touchup clear coat, 1500, 2000, 3000grit wet sand, then a polish would correct that crack.

i got my fingers crossed for a good match. Magnetic Metallic gray can be a pain in the ass. I know from trying to touch up chips on the OEM hood.
