Looking for a hood for my car 2016 v6. I bought it wrecked as a project car. I was hoping to find a factory hood, but haven't had much luck. Now looking at after market hoods. Looking for affordable, but don't want junk. My dad has bought some Duraflex hoods and will never buy another. Poor quality control.

I have been looking at some Trufiber, Amerihood, Cervini, etc hoods. I want something that fits right and looks good. Any horror stories with these companies? Any other hoods I should be looking at?

My hood from cervini is excellent quality and install was perfect. Only issue is wait time...took several months.

Thanks for the reply. I looked more aggressively at Cervini hoods and found a cowl hood (I love cowl hoods) at AmericanMuscle.com open box for only $315 because it was returned with some light scratches. I'm sure I can fill the scratches and make it look perfect. Many new fiberglass hoods need some minor bodywork when you get them anyway. Tax an handling charges got me out the door for under $500. I was having a hard time finding anything close to that price. Helped with budget build, and I think I will like aggressive look.
