1200whp for how long? I havent seen anyone make more than 1000whp and have the trans live longer than a season. Obviously a garage queen that doesnt see WOT will live forever but most guys who want to make that kind of power are drag racing often.
Reliability and longevity is a mystery unfortunately. My factory trans held fine for a year with 750 until I put the ESS on it and the 900 wore it down real quick. I’m definitely no garage queen I push the car to its limits on the street constantly. Once I have the upgraded trans I’ll definitely try to hit the track more and see what limits we can push there also.

I never have on any car I have owned.... and I would say only 10-15% of the ones I tune have them done. Never had a failure yet... supercharged or not.

NOTE: The highest reving one I tune shifts at 8,400 and has never missed a beat and is a road course car, that is going on 4 years of racing like that. Still 100% stock motor. (Winter upgrade is going to be timing chaings, OPG's etc)

Still think its a "good" idea. Just never have done a set.

How will it be driven?
I do not plan on Drag Strip my car. A pleasure car with WOT Spirited driving. I will not track my car. I do plan on keeping my 19" wheels unless the tires spin on the rims then I would buy street track tires.

Not worth the cost. Drive it, don't 2 step it or bounce off the limiter itll be fine up to 800whp..

From what I've seen it is the drag guys who use a 2 step or people who ride the rev limiter that have problems with the stock OPG's.

10K miles boosted, stock OPG and CS. No drag strip or road courses but I have had a lot of rolls from 60 - 70 with a lot of different cars.

Plus having fun when the mood strikes.

No issues (other than a toasted A10).

I did, but doesn't mean anything. I will say I have bounced off the limiter several times, trans was slipping bad. Not sure if the opgs helped, and probably no one will ever really know.

Great to hear. Plus I would do oil samples often just for piece of mind.

Thanks, if your running 15psi on E85 without issues says allot. Do you do regular Oil Analysis to make sure your engine isn't having wear issues? Thanks
Only been on 15 psi for 500ish miles, probably going to put the 4.25 pulley back on to make 10psi max for the winter months due to less traction and the car making more power in the cooler weather. The car smokes sometimes on pulls but I think I have an issue with the breather setup, because I have oil pushing through my valvecovers. Will soon be installing this, maybe for Christmas to myself:

I have the JLTs set up. I have yet to see any issue with it and it does catch the oil prior to going into the inlet. I will probably switch to a Breather Vents for that way their isn't a way for oil vapors to reach the intake at all. Good Luck

Only issue with those is oil saturation (big potential messes) and oil fumes.

I have a procharged 5.0. I did do OPG built motor and trans but I didn’t do any of the shafts. I will only race it on the street I wouldn’t track and destroy it.

I've broken all my parts on the street over the past 3 years. None at the track.
