I did them on my Procharged 2017, and I'll be doing them again on this 2022 Mach 1. Mostly because I like taking stuff apart and putting it back together, but also because I'm the type that will stress about it every time I flog the thing.

Ford allows dealerships to install blowers on brand new cars with a warranty, and they do not do the OPG's/CS.

But at least they aren't the variable vane shytepile you find on the LT4. Those also grenade themselves with no warning on a 100% stock motor.

Even if you have to pay someone else to do them, do it so that you don't think about it anymore, or create thread #19024875 on the same subject. just my .02

So in the 3+ months that this thread has been going, did the OP ever buy a supercharger? Maybe he's just a tire kicker like so many others.

If you want some peace of mind for relatively cheap, install OPG's, if you don't, don't install them.

I sort of hijacked this thread, but I am more then willing to swap mine. I HAVE TO CHANGE MY OIL PUMP ANYWAY, so there is no extra labor/time.

But, several people on this thread, with pictures to back it up, suggest the Boundary gears are WORSE than stock? I have a brand new set of Boundary gears ready to install. What do I do?

IMO,

If one chooses to run aftermarket gears treat them like a wear item and inspect after a fair interval. Say 10K miles. Or pick number of passes.
