It is what I said. You are making the assumption that every customer car I have tuned I tested all 3 fuel types on it. The cars I have tested e30/e85 on have been local, or for other shops that I do tuning for on the side, which I already stated. Not a single privately owned Mustang has received one of my E30/E85 tunes. Everything has been within a tight knit group until it is ready to release, same thing goes for the other products we are working on that aren't being displayed to the public, because they simply aren't worked out yet.

I'm sorry you are having fueling issues with your vehicle, I am not running into the same problems you guys are. I apologize.

Its amazing to me how all of the other tuners, using different tuning platforms, including Livernois say there is a fueling issue with this car and your the only one saying, but not proving otherwise and on top of that you say that running E85, which requires 40% more fueling then E10 (pump gas) is also not a problem...

I also wasnt making any assumptions on what you wrote, I was reading what you wrote and took it literally as everyone else did. All I did assume was that what you wrote is what you meant.

My logs from our car, customers cars, and even other shop's cars that I have tuned, all are showing me no signs of fueling issues on E10/E30/E85 with my changes.
:shrug::shrug:

Just prove to me and everyone else that what your stating is a fact and this discussion will be over.

Ok, I'm gonna try to push this thread on a very slight tangent...some have said Focus STs are capable of 400whp...I did a quick search and found a lot of talk of 330-350 being the limit, and a handful of vids on dynos w/ the higher #s, but no drag strip data.

To anyone more familiar...what is the highest trap speed an ST has posted w/o nitrous or meth? Are the hpfps the same between the 2.0 and 2.3?

Riiight?

This forum is a mess sometimes. I'm really excited for more info any time I see this thread bumped, and then...

Well...

Anyway, I'm trying to find comparisons of similar turbos on the Focus ST, just to see the results, but I'm not really finding anything useful; mainly just people asking the same questions we are about this, but getting no answers. Anyone else find anything?

RIGHT!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you much right now as the turbo is a prototype from comp/cavalli turbo. I have been on the phone with everyone involved in this project at the current time and we have been discussing tuning more than the product as it is in developmental stages. I know the car its on has seen 27 psi this afternoon with no mention of fueling issues.

As soon as it is in my hands I will test it with a forged bottom end and report back.

I would love to see this be a turbo thread instead of a dyno tuning thread?

I think a dyno/tuning thread would be cool if you guys wanna start one I'll contribute.

I'm pretty sure that Alex with Stratified has some FoSTs running over 400 whp on stock internals. Perhaps him or Jeremy could chime in.

ATP turbo has dyno charts and drag strip footage of all of their Ecoboost vehicles. Focus ST at 420 hp and 12.3 @ 116

Highest documented trap speed of a focus ST is 117, our shop car dyno'd over 400 as have many others. For that matter I'm running around 340hp on my personal car with stock exhaust lol.

I apologize for taking this OT.

I would be happy to debate dyno tuning, fuel system limits and any other items associated with this platform.

These EB 2.3's have only been out for 6 months and the majority of tuners have found issues with this platform that need to be ironed out and you guys/gals as the owners of these vehicles need to be told the straight scoop on what we are finding and anything that we discuss or found should be presented to you with factual data and proof. Everything I have done with our car has been presented truthfully and in a very straigh forward manner and I will continue to do so.

Thanks and once again I apologize for going off topic.

Wow back on topic again. Looking forward to more options for the EB. It is disappointing to see this degrade to a debate! Please share your results in regards to dyno tuning, fuel system limits etc. not opinion!
Opinions are like ***holes everyone has one.

I still don't understand why nobody has a HPFP prototype in place if they all say it's a limiting factor. It wouldn't be too hard to create a relocation kit to have it run off the serpentine belt, and use an overdrive pulley.

Full race has already mentioned a few times they are working on fuel system upgrades to support higher power levels. It just is going to take time apparently.
