Uh no like the 4b11 the EB is different than the Mazda motor.
Let me direct you to a quote straight from Wikipedia.
"An award-winning turbocharged version of the 2.3 with direct injection spark ignition, or "DISI" is also produced. It develops 263 hp (196 kW) @5,500 rpms and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) @3,000 rpms and is capable of propelling the Mazdaspeed3 from 0–60 mph in 5.6 seconds.[4]
As of 2015, Ford is using this engine as the basis of their 2.3 "EcoBoost" engine in the Lincoln MKC, Ford Explorer, Mustang, and Focus RS models."
AKA same engine used in the 2006 mazdaspeed 3... slight changes along the way but been building off the same platform for a decade. any questions?
