I've been doing a lot more studying and am now inclined to believe WH on this. It seems when widebands age they get slower in response. They don't go out of range or calibration unless damaged.No tune needed. Period.
Ford uses a wire for open air calibration. This is why we cannot cut and splice in wire to make them longer. Need F150 O2's or an adapter harness.
