Just what the title says. I will be doing about 6+ events per year and want to ensure I keep my tires somewhat alive.

Plus one on Tom's thoughts. I'm running the Vorshlag plates for stock suspension and they are awesome! Terry and his team made a great product!

I have both the vorshlag and maximum motorsports camber plates. Both are great and of high quality. I've used both brands in the past. But the vorshlag are beautiful..
Here's mine before I installed them.

I use Steeda's. Simple and effective.

If you are planning to do that many track days a year, and you are looking at nearly $550 for a caster/camber adjustment I would have to give serious thought to choosing a coilover front shock that has both adjustments built into the design as well as a bunch more adjustability. You would pickup, variable spring rates, rebound adjustment, ride height adjustment, camber/caster, additional tire clearance, and better over all performance. That is a big plus for a little more coin.

With that many events a year you will progress fairly quickly and will want/need more from the stock suspension, likely more than it can provide. If you have a PP car and want to sell the stock parts there is a market for them and it would offset the cost a little more.

These cars are front heavy and even if you can not afford to do the coilover at both ends right away you can get the front only coilover from RideTech for $1300 retail. This would give you alot of adjustability to get the front end working as well as saving your tires. If you make the move to a track wheel setup and R-Compound tires you will need even more adjustability to dial in the setup. The rear can be added later and a simple spring and shock upgrade in the rear may be enough to balance the setup and get you by.

It is something to consider since the $550 Caster/camber plate money would be a good start to the RideTech front coilovers. Since they sell the front and rear seperatly it would allow you to make the changes in stages if you did not want to do it all at one time.

I agree what you are saying.
But if he wants to stay with the stock style front suspension his best bet would be to buy the vorshlag camber plates because with the vorshlag plates you can use both stock struts and with just a change of the spring perch switch to coil over springs and struts. That's what makes the vorshlag camber plates great, not to mention they use superior materials.

Coilovers are in the plans but not for 2017. For 2017, im doing 18x10 cf5's, 275/40/18 RE-11'S, and sticking with my BMR performance springs.

Im not sure if i shoukd get camber bolts right now for some adjustability with my stock dampers. Right now im at stock alignment specs.

Great design, effective & come with a LIFETIME WARRANY!

From the factory, the OE components are designed without any camber adjustment for alignment purposes. The factory strut mounts also utilize a bushing style mount resulting in excessive bending stress on your dampers, steering system bind, and may even cause pre-mature failure.

Our Steeda S550 camber plates are made right here in the USA and are great for both street and track use.

Key Benefits:
- Ideal for any lowered street or track Mustang
- Reduce excessive uneven tire wear which can result from lowering your car
- Most adjustment range on the market
- Adjust camber angle from -0.3 degrees to -2.8 degrees
- Highest quality, stainless steel, Teflon-lined bearings included
- Nickel-plated bearing housing
- Tig-welded
- Grade 10.9 hardware and nylock nuts included
- CNC machined to exact tolerances
- Increased front grip, turn-in response and cornering performance
- Reduced understeer
- Increase overall cornering capability by .11 G's
- No increase in NVH
- Specifically designed for the S550 chassis and front suspension system
- No permanent modifications required
- Steeda American-made quality, backed by a lifetime warranty

You can call Mike D. at 1800 950 0774 to talk through the track aspects of these camber plates ... he is very knowledgeable & is happy to help.

Best Regards,

TJ

+1 for Vorshlag. I'm also using them with stock PP suspension with -2.2 camber to keep it street friendly. Very happy with the setup.
