I had same issues the first few times down the track too. Now, I choose the Line Lock function and turn off T/C while waiting in the staging lanes then once you pull down into the burnout box, it's hold ok, hold brake, hit ok and it's locked. Has made it much smoother for me. Don't let off...

Try Loudon Motors Ford too. They claim to have sold 7 of them last year so you might be able to swing a deal there. I did pay 5k on mine there but you might be able to negotiate something less.

My dealer had to do the inspection as well. Bad news is I need it replaced. Good news is they got the part in just a few days and she goes in Monday morning to get it replaced.
