Nice piece and neat logo. That said, I wouldn't buy simply because of the logo. I like my gear unmarked. Has anyone asked them if they will sell it without the logo? I'd expect pushback but if they realized that people aren't buying the kit due to the sticker, maybe they'd consider placing it in a less conspicuous place. A gorilla in the corner of the bay and a snake in the center....kind of an odd combination.
I did ask Greg via email, but he never replied to the question. I agree, the logo will prevent most people from buying it. They really should offer a logo-less option.

My logo is being removed as we speak.

Any proven Dyno gains ? The lethal intake gave something like 47 RWHP and 8 ft-lbs torque which is a bunch.
Not that I have seen, but there is no reason that this will not make the same-ish gains as the other options out there. The filter itself, and the large smooth bore intake tube is where the power is coming from. This intake is no different. A a matter of fact, the filter is larger than the one on my 1320 Junkie CAI. I have not compared the filter size to the JLT I have in a box somewhere, but I gather it's comparable.

That reminds me, Iā€™ve got to get the JLT listed for sale.

Yeah, I also would not buy it because of the logo. Maybe they could just send it with a sticker, put on if you choose.

I like to disassemble things.
Precisely. I don't need two elements at war with one another in my engine bay. Covert rules the day here, albeit, in fiber.:)

My issue is that Iā€™ve a forged hood vent and soon a forged s-wing so I canā€™t do 2x2 weave under the hood or my ocd will go loco. I do have the interior CF trim option but I can live with that being different since itā€™s inside the car lol

Absolutely gorgeous but dang weā€™re up to a whole new price level for an intake, lol.
Yes, borderline nuts. The JLT has made me very happy performance wise and at a pricepoimt that isn't stupid.

Jamie, how do you afford this stuff?

Same as everyone else I suppose. Iā€˜m not afraid to work for the things that I want. Also, in my line of work, there is ample opportunity to work OT and details. Although, I am looking forward to slowing down all the working to enjoy what I have, Iā€™m getting tired.

I sure would have liked to pay less than I did, but unfortunately the prices are out of my control. That said, this thing is a work of art. I have had many intakes over the years, but this thing takes the cake. I have been searching for a good solution to the side vent being right on top of my air filter for a while. This thing will solve the water problem for me, and look mint doing it.

My car has been spread all over this country, and Canada for that matter. She really has gotten around like a promiscuous girlfriend.

Yeah like anything else in life you get what you pay for. The quality as you stated looks exceptional and there has always been a void for exposed carbon fiber intakes for Shelby's.

They really should offer a logo-less versionā€¦ā€¦ But where there is a will, there is a way!

OK that looks fantastic man so they sanded it out of the clear and they just re-cleared?

FANTASTIC!

That came out amazing. Your paint guy did a fantastic job. Before you put it on, let the paint cure a little while. Engine bay particulate can embed itself in the clear before it has a chance to degas and harden all the way. If he baked it then it'll probably be fine. The particulate can cause a "haze" or a discoloration weeks or months down the road that you'll have to cut and buff out.

These cars done right really are a work of art.
