The collision assist turns off when you are in track mode. Your gauge shows you are in normal mode.

Looks like disconnecting the AdvancedTrac connector is the best option.
Sure try this, and if you can try holding for 8 seconds to turn advancetrac off. I bet you'll see next to zero difference 'next to' cause it's very hard to duplicate a lap.

Not talking about a lap

We will have to agree to disagree, the M1 with ATC on was a Box Car from handling perspective. I could count 1/1000, 2/1000 and I’m sitting parked at the exit of the corner.

IMO the ATC is fine for the street but is way and I mean way to sensitive for the track.

Don't pull the plug. Turn off advancetrac and put the car in Sport. If you leave it in track the throttle is slower, safer, but less throttle control. Collision avoidance will stay on but your right foot can overpower it like adaptive cruise (though I know we don't have AC).

I have 40,000+ miles at RA, a few SCCA track records
Pull the plug. You will lose ABS but I think you know how to brake.

On my car the nannies still kick in even with advance track supposedly turned off by holding the button till it says advance track off. It really isn't, much less YES but not off.

How do you know for sure it's not completely off ?

Hum, I was wondering what exactly pulling the plug turns off. If ABS then that’s a non-starter. Braking is way easier with good ABS.

No, that was after the session, I turned the car back on just to get a photo of the G’s.

We will have to agree to disagree
Agree to disagree on what ? Pulling the pigtail vs turning advancetrac off will yield zero gains IMO.

The advance track runs off the ABS system. In order to completely turn off advance track you need to disable the ABS module.

Some think it turns off with the dash button but I find it is still on.

Supposedly there is on, sport and off.

Really there is on, less, and even less, but still on.

Yours may turn off, mine doesn't.

Ok, my bad. I said leaving AdvancedTrac on vs turning it off will show big track time delta’s when pushing close to 10/10th

Collision assit definitely does turn off in track mode. I've come flying up on people numerous times and it's never gone off if I was in normal mode I know for a fact it would have
