Just my 2 cents here.. When selecting first or reverse you are stationary, all the other gears you are not, unless you are saying you can get all the other gears stationary, engine running?

Have you tried letting the pedal up a touch, say an inch or so and see what happens. I have seen issues in the past where the clutch can drag when the pedal is all the way down as the centre is being pushed too far in. Did this happen straight away after the new clutch went in, or since then?
No the issue seemed to come up this past month. No changes to my driving style. Just cruising, not really banging gears.

Dude come on. Don't mislead the guy.
Mine does that.....just not as much as the OP's. The resistance looks a bit excessive.

OP, try putting it into 1st/reverse after waiting 5 seconds after putting the clutch pedal to the floor.

Does it go into the other gears OK, engine running Stationary? If Yes, then it could be something come loose on the selector, if not then its your clutch. Either way, the shop that did the clutch should at least take a look for you.

I have a '17GT so it has steel selector forks, but it slips in and out of gear with ease, on or off.

No changes. If I put it into second and start off, it drives normally. 2nd -6th feel perfect

All the other gears are perfect. I’m assuming it’s some sort of connection issue. I thought something would be blocking the reverse gear channel but when the car is off, it slides in perfectly, so there isn’t anything blocking it.

Just a thought, and the '18 plus guys will know better.. do those crappy aluminum shift forks bend?

You see, when you change gear, the fork slides a ring with internal teeth over another ring with external teeth. When not running they all just slide around easy, but when running everything is spinning at a different speed so you have a tapered ring called a synchro, and that will "wedge" the geared rings to get them to match up on speed. The ring with internal teeth is moved by the selector fork, so if it's bent it will be pulling the synchro at an angle perhaps?

Just a thought.
I recently stripped and rebuilt my Land Rover MT82. I made a video series about it.

What's the thought? Think the OP is going to drop and rip his trans apart?

Kinda sick of these YT video pushers here.

No, I didn’t think for a minute he was gonna strip has box, but he might be interested to see what’s inside it?

I’m kinda sick of rude people on here.
