Broke another diff bolt!!!!

Hard shift into 2nd... wheel hop for a second and boom!! Diff bolt broke again. I've used the BK054 inserts and bigger bolts and it still broke. I guess I'm going to have to get the BK050 bushings. The ones that require you to drill the old ones out. Anyone have the BK050? If so... how bad is the NVH. I really don't want to get these because of the NVH but I cant take it anymore. 3rd time I broke the same bolt in the same place. I also have BMR cradle and links on the car lowered on eibach pro kit springs. Or what kind of bushings are you guys using to prevent this from happening. Thanks

Whats through bolting it? Id hate to have to buy the steeda brace. I want to say it does the same thing as the cradle .

Have you thought about a stall speed auto? You’ll go faster and you wont break diff bolts..another suggestion is to swap to a live axle ford 9”... both are big bucks but you’ll spend more time on the track then in the shop!

Wheel hop breaks things, standard or auto shift.

Car hasn't wheel hopped in a very long time. First time its done it in a while. Maybe the bushing or bolt was on the way out idk.

I use the whiteline bushings and even though they’re the softest aftermarket option, they still have some very annoying nvh. Aluminum would be unbearable, I can only imagine.

Do the thru bolt kit. Its stronger than any bushing or insert that dosent change the shear point.

good point. Sometimes I think we should go find the Ford engineer who designed this and do the 'disappearing pencil/diff bolt' trick the Joker is fond of.
