(Okay this is my 3rd re-post in various forums, but it was cool...)

Drawing envy from my student...
He brought his 2005 Ford GT (GT40) to my Driving school, and wanted to go for a ride in MY MUSTANG! So I gave him a demo ride in each one.

I guess the weather being warmer is bringing out the stares and compliments. Got six compliments or thumbs up in three days lol. At my job everyone wants to look at it and I work at a Toyota Dealership! ( I'm not a fan of toyotas styling lol)

In the Detroit area, I don't seem to get any compliments at all. Only one thumbs up from a S197 driver.

There are a lot of 15s on the road here though...

I actually saw a family taking pictures in front of my car... my v6 mustang. I was shocked lol

I get a lot of compliments about the deep impact blue paint. Even my 79 year old mother just went on and on about the paint. I get a LOT of looks. I admit it's fun. The best part is our cars have the "go" to back up the "show".

One of the more memorable compliments was from today when I was rushing to pick my cousin up from a bicycle wreck. I accelerated a bit too hard from a red light and my rear end kicked out again, but I rode it out and played it cool. I pulled over a block from that to load up my cousin's bike and this lady, probably in her 50's in a large SUV double parked right next to me, looked at me and made the most genuine WOW :O face and left, lol.

Put some gas in and right when I started up the car afterwards a guy just stared at the car nodding his head "yes, yes, yes."

Then, just 10 minutes later, I was looking for a parking space and this guy was messing about his driver's seat from outside the car and I asked if he was parked or leaving. He said he just parked and apologized, I said "No worries!," and as I drove off I heard him say "that's a nice-ass Mustang" to himself.

Dude in a red Cooper S rode beside me on the turnpike on the way to work this morning just to give me a thumbs up.

Had to trailer mine from GA to VA for a military move...many times saw the cars passing me slow down and cruise behind me for a bit, then accelerate to pass me after checking it out. Best one was when I saw someone have their passenger roll down their window, pull in their mirror, and take a pic.

I had an older lady in a very nice Mercedes tell me how pretty she thought it was. I've had young guys comment on it. All very positive comments. My favorite was from a guy at a convenience store who called it "Badass". As a woman, I really get a kick out of having guys admiring my car. I just love this car! Such a blast to drive!

I have only had MY CO GT for five days and im amazed at the reaction it gets. There are not too many in my area, i've only seen two or three at most so it gets the attention. Two buddies who confess they are not Ford guys love this car. On the highway today with the Borla S growling, a truck next to me is yelling. Thought he was telling me to slow down..i lower the window to listen to him, and he is hanging out his truck with the thumbs up yelling " that car is NASTY". Made me feel great. Only hate i get is from a co worker who at every chance tells me Mustang is a girls car. He in his 01 Durango. I always reply, "Arent SUV's the new soccer moms car, replacing the minivan ?
