I shouted nice car to a guy getting out of a camaro at the super market, and I told him I was getting a 2015 mustang, and he said it was such a pretty car and he was jealous haha.

Here is the real question, did your wife hear about that little exchange?
Nah. I don't feel like starting a cat fight. Best to leave that one alone. I'd answer honestly if asked, but won't go looking for trouble. She wouldn't find the joke funny.

Was driving through National Harbor near D.C. And I swear all the foreign tourists stopped and pointed at my car. They were amazed as if it was an exotic car! Lol

When I came out from a medical appointment, a guy my age (late 60's) was walking around my car (which was parked away from any other cars), and had some questions about it. Said Ford did a nice job with this Mustang. Seemed pretty knowledgeable about Mustangs. We talked a few minutes then he headed back to his car.

Guy in his 60's "rowing" gears... I love it man! You are an inspiration to us younger guys on this forum

So far from driving mine for 3 months, these are the questions/compliments I have received from sitting at red lights:

"What year is that?"
"Sweet ride, man!"
"Is that the new one?"
"What is that, is that a Camaro?"
"Did daddy buy you that?"

My wife and I came out of grocery store yesterday. Two guys gathering shopping carts stopped at my car. We watched a minute as they walked around and around it pointing and talking. We started walking toward the car. One looked up and saw us - he said, "Man, that is the baddest car I've ever seen." I said THanks.

As we drove away, my wife said, "You liked that, didn't you?" I just grinned. Oh yeah!!!

Who says cars are a depreciating asset? It's moments like that when it's obviously an appreciating asset. Onlookers appreciate our Mustangs and we place those comments in our Ego-Bank.

After a dry spell of sorts I got a "Nice car!" comment at the gas station yeaterday and a neck-snapping younger kid in a Jeep today (who proceeded to pull out in front of someone else); but it was especially nice to find someone to scamper with early this evening. Sadly, I do not yet know how to distinguish the model years, but an older stang (cobra? white with blue stripe) and I played around driving down one main road. FINALLY, someone who reciprocated a thumbs-up and a big smile as we approach a light instead of the other driver turning their head away from me. :D Seriously, there is mostly zero love between stang drivers in my experience thus far.

Oh Klumpikat, let me set you straight....there is lots of love between Stang owners, and we all wave and give each other the thumps up at stoplights. But unfortunately, we are a very chauvinistic crowd and while we treat other fellow male drivers with respect, there still exists a bunch of male chauvinist Pigs among our ranks. Yes that's right, some men can't stand to see women driving Mustangs, and especially not the "cream of the crop" GTs! Women driving coyote powered GTs is taken as an affront to their manhood by
some small- minded, biased males. Quiet frankly, you are perceived as a threat. Sorry but that might be why you don't see the love between Stang owners.
