walked into chipotle in my scrubs and the girl at the register was all smiles and blushed and said i had a gorgeous car and asked what i did. told her i was a nurse and she was surprised i could afford it...fml haha
She probably thought you were a doctor. Trying to find someone to augment that sweet Chipotle wage she's earning.

"Dude, your car sounds like a f***ing transformer" - When I started it up, from a nearby coworker lol.

Also had a Porsche owner ask me if I wanted to trade with him because he thought "my sh*t was hot". I laughed and made sure he wanted to trade a Porsche for a Ford. :D Not that I'd want the Porsche myself anyway lol.

I was sitting at a traffic light waiting for it to change and guy in the car behind gets outta his car walks up to my drivers side and asks me what the car is, and what year the car is. Then he asked me how much did i pay for it! I answered his questions and he responded by saying " man Ford has come a long way"! He then walks back to his Mazda! His wife in the passenger seat watched the entire thing... lol

A couple days ago a guy coming the other way on a side street stuck his hand out his window to flag me down. Said "is it as fast as it looks?" and i'm like "yeah it's a lot of fun",
' then he asked the horsepower and wished me luck. I'm not sure if that was just for life in general or to not crash while having fun..lol

Yesterday a guy walking by the drive thru I was sitting in said "you're making me want to go buy one!" and I said "that's what happened to me!"

A guy walking along the sidewalk in a viaduct I was roaring through last week was like "sweet ride brother!"

A couple weeks ago a guy with his girlfriend along the sidewalk, without speaking, raised his arm with a fist as if to say "hell yeah!" so I gave him a soundless reply by making the sign of the metal horns as I passed by. That's probably my favorite interaction so far. We didnt have to say a word..LOL

This car gets so much more attention when it's nice out and I can keep it shiny. Black doesnt seem to pop enough when it's dingy.

PJR202 haha "Black doesnt seem to pop enough when it's dingy." Is so true. I get like average of 3 comments a day for a day or two after I wash my black EB then as soon as the dust settles back to stealth mode. Had thought I was crazy for thinking this

it's legit. black is all or nothing when it comes to curb appeal. when it's really dingy and i'm roaring through town and no one is looking it makes me feel like i'm in a mad max movie.

Two Compliments

One guy in a Jeep gave me a thumbs up.
Another guy with his son asked me if the color on my Mustang was factory issue or custom job.

I'm not even sure if its possible to travel 1 mile without passing at least 2 Mustangs in my region. Just the same, I can't help but notice all of the attention that my new 17' GT receives. Maybe it's the race red / black accent combo? Either way, the car gets plenty of looks, comments, thumbs up, and Civics revving their engines at stop lights.

Now usually I don't care for attention. Especially while out in public. That said, I confess that a part of me is on the cusp of enjoying it! One things for sure, there's no better form of validation than a healthy string of positive feedback.

I get the most compliments while filling up. However, while people stare especially while making turns, I haven't gotten the thumbs up and other attention most here seem to get.

Rolling down the main strip of VA beach this weekend I was watching people pull out their phones and recording me go by. I've passed people on the highway quite a few times where the passenger starts recording. It's a weird feeling.

Got a wave from a Z06 that was heading in the opposite direction. So I waved back. Thought that was kinda cool. However, I've waved at many Mustangs and never had it returned.

Jeep drivers all seem to wave at each other. Why can't Mustang drivers?

By wave I mean the one to three finger lift off the steering wheel technique.
