LOL. zero chance a Genesis gets more attention buddy

Man I wish I could agree, unless they are BS'ing me. They're always saying how people are asking what car it is (they have the wing badges and one guy has batman badges) and how nice it looks. Always saying they get questions like "nice car what is it?"

I'm pretty sure it's exaggerated a bit because it seems to happen way more frequently than the occasional "nice car" when someone sees mine. Either way I don't really care because at the end of the day I still thing my car looks better than any genesis out there lol and outperforms it by a LONG shot, modded or not.

Actually I think this highly depends on the area and how many there are around. I wouldn't honestly be surprised. Around here I've seen only one out of a fairly large city area. None ever at any c&c, or on the road. It's actually an older gentleman who drives it as well (probably mid to late 50's). Whereas mustangs and camaros are literally everywhere. They become "typical" so cars with a much lower population tend to grab extra attention just because you don't see them often over them being "nice" cars.

I also think it depends upon how heavily modded your exterior is. adding custom wheels, racing stripes, etc.. seem to attract attention and make a car stand out from the pack.. also the brighter colors (ruby red, competition orange, etc) tend to get more attention..before I purchased mine my wife rented a ruby red 2015 anniversay special gt convertible.. we took it for the day and had people coming up to us at every single stop we made...sometimes it was the convertible..other times it was the ruby red color...I really thought it was a beautiful/stunning color, but almost too pretty for a mustang in my opinion.. plus I did not want to shell out the extra 10k for the convertible that I was only going to use for a limited time in Wisconsin... I currently have a deep impact blue gt and the only exterior mod I have done is a mmd rear spoiler. It's a beautiful car (imo) but not in your face or saying "look at me" I still get compliments but not all the time...

Was at a stop light today and a guy pulls up in a Ford Taurus, roll down his window and says "Hey do you want to trade cars?" I smiled and waived. Also stopped in a parking lot on Sunday where a guy was changing his flat tire. Asked if he needed any assistance, he said no, but i'd love to swap cars with you!..

LOL everyone always wants to trade, I usually say sure if you take over the payments too :lol:

In my professional experience they usually look more like this, NOT Julia Roberts!!!!

I don't know man, Julia Roberts does not look like Julia Roberts when you take off the paint... actually most stars are almost unrecognizable without teams of makeup artists. Hell, they may even make me look good!

At a stop light and a driver in a truck is quick to point out "DAMN bro your car is LOUD! Sounds awesome!" I give him the thumbs up. Running Corsa Xtreme's and Stainless Power long tubes lol.

My house is only 5 minutes from my work. In those 5 minutes I see 5-7 mustangs. Las vegas have to be the city with the most mustangs around

Was waiting at a redlight yesterday on my way home and saw in my rear view mirror a girl in a jeep behind me taking a picture of my car. I am only certain because she had the phone in that awkward position where she was trying to hide the phone best she could behind the steering wheel, while still being able to take a pic of what was in front of her. Made me feel extra good considering my car is filthy ATM.

Then a tweaker at mcd's this morning told me he like mustangs and thought mine was really nice before asking for $2.25 "for the bus". Felt kinda bad b/c he couldn't have been much older than myself. Was thinking about asking him if he wanted some food but he looked well fed enough and pretty clearly only wanted money as he walked away when I said I had no cash. DON'T DO (hard) DRUGS KIDDIES :eyebulge:

Never heard the term "tweaker" before, but I know what you mean. Begging and panhandling is getting out of control here. I see someone on a lot of street corners in Winston and Greensboro. Makes me sad. :( the fact that I can't tell who actually needs it and who is going to get high off of it.

I usually get compliments and comments on my car color. I had another person come up to me yesterday. I was getting ice cream in a shop and he must have saw me get out. But he asked what color my car was. He said it looks green from certain angles and black or gray from other angles. I just told him they call it Guard and it is a grayish green.

I like the mystery behind Guard. Too bad they discontinued it. I guess my car will stick out a bit more now.

Had a guy yesterday stop me at the gas station who asked me all kinds of questions about my car. He asked if he could hear me rev it up. I said sure, lemme just put some gas in it first. He waited until I put in a full tank of gas just so he could hear it.
