The day I drove it home, stopped at Publix, and had a guy ask me if it was a Ferrari. And definitely see a lot more people turning their heads to look as I drive by. I honestly think it's as much a product of the relatively unique color (how many dark green cars do you see anymore?) and being a GT, which is still relatively rare from what I've seen in my area.

I just had a friend of mine who drives a Mercedes-Benz coupe ask me when I had gotten my Jaguar convertible...just smiled and said I've had it for a while. This is the second time someone mistook this Mustang vert for a Jag...very amusing!

Lmao I remember the first time. This is hilarious.

A few days ago I stopped to get some gas and a lady in front of me was asking me what kind of car it was. Then she said she really like it, and called it "cute". I was like

^^^^Most middle aged ladies do not know the proper adjectives to properly describe their appreciation of any automobile, much less a true beast of a muscle-car such as yours. So if I were you, I would consider her comment of "Cute" as a sincere compliment. But if you were both at a Nudist Camp and she used the word "Cute" as she gazed at your "package"...well then that would be a grave insult.

I have broken a decent amount of necks in the car. Haven't received any compliments yet, but I feel as soon as I get my springs, spacers, and tints, definitely going to stand out from the rest of the stands. I have received a fair amount of positive comments about my BMW surprisingly.

Mustang convertible owners get a lot of compliments as we drive around topless. I imagine it's much harder for other motorists to give compliments to Mustang fastbackers. And particularly if they have a tint job. On the other hand, it's easy to talk to an Old Dufus driving a vert singing his head off while wearing a straw golf hat. It's always amusing...

Stuck in Bay Area traffic on the phone with my dad, rolled up next to a bright red GT500 convertible, gave a thumbs up and a holler to the woman driving it. She returned the compliment on my car, and we chatted a bit. My father was amused. That car sounded mean.

Sorry for the verts out there but for some reason I look at convertibles and instantly think chick driver, or middle aged balding man.

PS theres a middle age balding man with a white vert porsche boxster around my block

I park in an underground garage at work, there is a security on entry. Few days ago I went to see my friend during lunch and the security guy went all crazy while I was passing through the gate, he was like "Oh my god, that's awesome, you nailed it with that Mustang" and then went for a while like that. Now he's always waving at me

I get so many looks, guys at gas stations want to talk, there was a dude on a parking lot recently who was going around my car while I was sitting inside with a friend and talking. Then he came up to driver's windows so I opened the door and he was once again crazy how awesome the car looks and if he can see the interior

Yesterday I went to teach my first class on an University where I used to study. I parked on a lot just in front of the main entrance and my colleague was already outside the car and smoking. Then he told me how all the girls outside started talking about the car, how they wanted a ride home on it

I was driving it one night just for some abandoned highway cruising, but, first, I stopped at a gas station to put some air in the tires.

A guy pulls up in a 2013 silver V6 model, compliments me on he car, and we talk back and forth a bit about them.

One of my earliest drives, I'm at a traffic light on a really nice day one weekend, and I pull up. Next to me are two older gentlemen in a perfectly restored car, burgundy colored, which turns out to be a 1971 Karmann Ghia. They're obviously checking the car out, and I'm checking theirs out (when I was a kid, a guy across the street had an orange Karmann Ghia).

I roll down the window and they say "Love the pony!" before I even was able to ask them about the KG. Definitely made my day...

More like "chick magnet"!:amen: Good looking women just love to ride around topless, in the car that is.:love: When little girls went to parades they admired the "Beauty Queens" riding along in convertibles and waving to the crowds, and they secretly wanted to be a "Beauty Queen" when they grew up.:hail: And what about their stories such as Cinderella and her open air carriage. Their Barbie dolls had Mustang convertibles.:eyebulge: And so girls grow up liking convertibles. My last three Mustangs have been convertibles and used in the local 4th of July and Christmas Parades...and yes with some local beauty queen adorning my Stang.:clap2::clap2: I am old and could not be considered middle aged...but I do have a full head of hair.:headbonk: :cheers:
