I have been looking at different options for a resonator delete and the Borla SwitchFire seems to get a lot of positive reviews so I started looking for a supplier and in some cases I am being told it will not fit on the '21 Mach 1... Is this the case or BS? Also interested in your thoughts on the SwitchFire. I can get it in Canada for $597 CAD ($465 USD) with free delivery.

I have it installed on my '20 GT with active exhaust so that won't help your fitment question. What I can tell you is there is ZERO drone, a deep tone and it does not get trumpety at the top of the rev range. It sounds smooth and refined. A true piece of engineering.

I installed the switch fire on a 2019 Bullitt which has the same exhaust as the Mach 1 with no fit ent issues

They do sound different than a regular xpipe.

Another clip I posted awhile back, keep in mind no WOT clips as I was in a neighborhood.

According to what I have heard. A reg X-pipe is more raspy.
And H-pipe is bit less raspy and the Borla has a even lower tone.
I think either a reg H pipe or the Borla will be best for me.

Everyone here the Forum raves about it. It is pricier that a reg H Pipe.

Hey Dave, so I tried several different X and H pipes on the 2018 GT and they all seemed to sound raspier at WOT than the stock resonator. Same thing with the switchfire?

Not as deep as an hpipe, but it's more high tech sounding which I like. There is more volume as the bottom tubes of the crossfire are straight through.

There is still a little rasp with the Ford Racing by Borla Sport. However still sounds very good.

Back when I had a 2015 50th anniversary mustang I wanted to install a set of gt500 exhaust due to their unique sound but could not find any used ones at the time and ended up with Roush which sounded awesome.

How similar do you all think the cans on the Mach 1 are to the Ford Racing cans on Dave's GT?
